Greetings fellow members

We love to go to new ecosystems in a field trip. Every field trip that we go to leads to a new adventure.

Pond Introduction

Today we will talk about our ecosystem, which is the Black's nuck pond. Our names are Karina, Georgia, Phoebe,

and Carlos. So pay attention, OK! Good.

The abiotic things in this pond ecosystem are things that are not alive like: the sun, woodchips, rocks, and the

fresh water. Most of the ground is made of woodchips and soil. The air is sort of cold sometimes so you might want

to a sweater or jacket to put on. The climate is also not to Shabby say. The water is about pH6, which is good for

any animals living in it.

The ecosystem biotic things are a lot so we will say it slowly.

The producers are: trees, flowers, lily pads, cattail, poison Ivy, and plankton

The Herbivores are: ants, damsel nymph fly, flies, mayfly imp, etc.

The carnivores are: leeches, copepods, Threadworms, Fingernail, Turtles, Fish, Worm

Last but not least the Decomposers: Fungi, Moss, and Earthworms

Thank you for listening, Do you have any questions?
